Pretty decent VV outlet.
Reasonably clean and well organized.
What you’d expect at one of their stores.

However you probably shouldn’t go on a Tuesday if you aren’t there for the over 60 discount (which is 30%!!) 😀👍

They need to have more cashiers on Tuesdays to help, as many seniors aren’t familiar or comfortable with the self-checkout.
Even though there are 9 self-checkout stations, the line was quite slow as many of the shoppers needed help checking out.
There were only two cashiers on and they seemed a bit beleaguered (but very helpful and good at their job).

Don't try to exchange something you used a coupon on (that you got from giving them lots of good items for them to make money off of). The prices of the items are the same, but they require you to pay the difference of the coupon on the new item. Also, the manager needs some customer service skills upgrading. It is apparent he has delusions of grandure and on a power trip with his tiny bit of authority. The man doesn't listen to the customer, has no intention of helping a situation, talks down to women and gets in your personal space. To be clear, this is The Belleville Value Village on Bell Blvd, on Friday, Feb. 21/25, day shift. Note to value village: Check your manager. You are losing business and also 1000s of dollars worth of potential donations. Since myself and many others who witnessed the way this man spoke to this lady will no longer be donating our goods to your store.

The pawn shop that calls its self a thrift store.
They buy your goods like a thrift store (They pay you nothing) but sell things for top dollar like a pawn shop. Don't be fooled, none of the proceeds are going to charity.  Remember, there is no overhead costs, and yet everything is priced like it's an antique. Barbies with no clothes should be in a dime bag, not multiple dollars. donated card collections are split apart and sold in tiny bundles, burnt out candles are sold for multiple dollars, and a pre-lit candle will cost you the same as a new retail-store candle. This list here goes on and on.  If they happen upon something valuable, they price it out and charge the full retail price for a new item. Go ahead, check the display case, nothing in there is a deal. Ripoff.

This store used to be comfortable to shop in. They now have a creepy security guard who hides in aisles and texts his girlfriend while he is supposed to be working. Other than this the employees are friendly and very helpful.

We used to love coming here but lately this store is on some next level gouging. This was the icing on the cake. 165$ for an empty box that was a donation.

Prices just keep going up. Not many deals anymore. The staff are nice and it's set up so you can find what you're looking for. Good location, loads of parking. Accessibility is good.

Season tickets for 34 years. Through thick and thin. Go Sens Go
