Leah does not deliver what she promises. I had several conversations with her re. My daughters first birthday backdrop. She charged me $800 for a very basic balloon backdrop. I had asked for Greenery which she never even brought with her to the event. She claims that Project Play only gave her 30 mins to setup. Which is a lie. They allowed her to come in early which gave her an hour. When I showed up to the event (30 mins prior) she was still blowing up balloons and complained about the lack of time the venue gave her. Also the custom name on the backdrop was falling off the edge. She didn't even bother to center it or fix it.
I had a wonderland theme and our main color scheme (which we discussed many times prior) was silver, greenery and pale pinks. She included teacup style plates and saucers that were yellow and blue for the table decor. Which she never mentioned to me. She did show me the cups (which were pink) but purposely left out the blue and yellow. It looked fine, but again she didn't deliver what she promised.
The backdrop looked great, but again it wasn't what I paid $800 for. Balloon backdrops shouldn't cost that much, especially when she left out so much detail.
She also strongly encourage me to get a hot chocolate cart. Which she promised she would decorate with pink balloons and Greenery. She didn't do ANY of that. I have all my IG conversations with her. She claimed she really wanted me to get This cart for "her portfolio" The cart looked SO PLAIN. I still paid for it too.

I mentioned all of this to her AFTER my event and she claimed I said it looked good before she left, so I must have liked it otherwise I should have told her. She left AFTER our party began, mentioning it her (and havi g her change it) as guests were walking in, wouldn't have mattered. She also claimed that my husband liked the decor and so did everyone else. When I am the one who paid her.

Ridiculously priced. Incredibly unprofessional. A Conniving person. A complete waste of money. Go to ANY OTHER balloon decorator for half the cost. She never offered ANY type of compensation or refund. Instead she said to "use her again for cost price". I would never use or trust her again. She promises the world and delivers absolutely nothing. I've attached the picture of the hot chocolate cart. I will not be giving her any of my professional images for her portfolio.

Leah was wonderful to work with! I had a general idea of what I wanted to do for my daughter’s birthday and she was able to pull together my ideas and create a beautiful backdrop and kids table. I will definitely be booking for future events!
